ASM Databot!
Hey Traders,
A few of you have been asking how to get historical market data to use in your own spreadsheets or tools... So I created the ASM Databot.

You can access it here:
https://www.allsportsmarket.com/databot.aspx

It has some simple instructions there, but basically just enter a Stock Symbol and some Dates and you can view it's historical data in a comma-delimited format perfect for pasting into a spreadsheet or scraping with a script.

Check it out and let me know what else you want the ASM Databot to tell you.

Re: ASM Databot!
Hey Ace and Community as a whole. When I try to use this it brings up a good amount of data if i go from the beginning of time and follow the copy and paste instructions but all I get is a block of text not all the numbers in separate boxes. I am using Excel 2016 and Chrome though I do believe I tried to copy and paste from IE as well.

Any thoughts on the steps I can take to correct the issue?

Also Ace I was just wondering if I could email you what I used to have from the old old days to see if there is a chance you could have something like it in the future for us?

Thanks

Re: ASM Databot!
Don't try to paste directly into Excel, instead paste into a plain text editor like Wordpad and save as a .csv file.
Then, import that file into Excel as a comma-delimited text file and it should work fine.

Feel free to send me an example of what you used to have or would like to see.
